During your initial consultation, we’ll listen to your concerns and understand the specific aspects of dental treatment that trigger your anxiety. Whether it’s a fear of needles, the sound of the drill, or a sense of vulnerability, we’ll work with you to identify your unique triggers and develop a plan to address them.

One effective strategy we often employ is using hand gestures to signal when things become overwhelming. For example, you and your dentist might agree on a specific hand signal that means “stop” or “I need a break.” 

Some patients find it helpful to establish a “time-out” signal, allowing them to pause during treatment to relax and regain composure.
